Best Western Plus Deerfield Beach Hotel & Suites

The view is beautiful, and the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were clean and looked after. The hotel is easy to find and older, but it’s been cared for. The ice machine on the second floor wasn’t working, and only one elevator at the back of the hotel was in service, though the stairs are nearby. Housekeeping felt a bit off-putting, so I’d avoid engaging with them if you don’t need to. I’d give the place 4 and a half stars, and will probably return. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

My room was fantastic, with clean sheets, a nice smell, and a great feel to it. I had a really good stay, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Florida, and I’ll be back. Lory at the front desk was patient and upbeat while checking me in, and answered all my questions helpfully. She had a bubbly personality and a really good vibe.

The pool area alone made the stay worthwhile. The pool is huge and beautiful, and the courtyard and spa were lovely too, especially for a trip with kids. Breakfast had lots of hot and cold options, though the potatoes and French toast sticks on day two tasted reheated and weren’t edible. At least there were fresh waffles. The hotel is convenient to everything, with easy beach and main-road access and a walking path next door by the business center. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating. I was skeptical at first because the outside looks dirty and badly needs paint, with broken light fixtures and only one working, rather run-down elevator. Inside was a surprise: the lobby is renovated, and the rooms were very clean and large. Our two-room suite had plenty of space and two working TVs, though not many channels. This place is a diamond in the rough.

We got a very good deal, and my family of four was happy with the breakfast, location, quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff. The only issue with the room was that the sofa beds could be better quality. Renato checked us in and took time to explain everything, and even surprised the kids with a free cookie while we were checking in. The customer service was excellent, and we hope to come back soon.
