Sunrider Beach Resort

The beach is less than 50 feet across a small, quiet street, and that location is the real draw. This original Deerfield hotel is apparently the first one built, tucked among much larger hotels. It's no four-star showpiece for modern style, but it gets five stars from me as a place to relax. The pool is lovely, the beds were comfortable, the staff friendly, and Jeannine at the front desk was especially helpful. The beach was immaculate too. There’s a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Next door is the Wyndham Hotel, which seems nice after its major renovation, and there are terraces and restaurants in every price range nearby for a younger crowd. We liked BURGERFI for its quality and quick service. I'd recommend this place to a small family on a modest budget. I feel lucky I found it, and would definitely come back. Maybe it’s a well-kept secret after all.
