There were flies in the lobby as soon as we walked in, and it smelled there and in the rooms. The TV didn’t work, and the front desk representative wasn’t welcoming. The service felt very unprofessional. I spoke with manager GP days later, and he apologized, but there was no compensation for this visit. He offered $50 off a future stay, which doesn’t help when I clearly said I wanted him to look into what happened. There won’t be another stay.

I’ve tried just about every hotel around here in this price range, and Comfort Inn is easily the best. It’s clean and quiet, with several restaurants just down the road. 10 out of 10.

We stayed here three times, twice in 2025 and once in 2026, and every visit was awful. On 1/29 and 1/30, we were made to sleep on sheets and a bed with fresh urine on them. We could smell it through the sheets, which is why we checked. After we complained, they moved us to another room where the smoke detector was falling off the wall. We got nothing for the disgusting room because our deposit had gone missing, and we had to wait for them to find our money. There is no no-deposit policy, but they didn’t trust our card, so we had to pay cash to stay the second day. With the woman working the 3pm check-in, the card works fine. When we add a stay with male staff, they say the card doesn’t work or can’t be used, even though we’d used that same card the day before. The owner wouldn’t come out for our serious complaint, but showed up in under ten minutes when our card was rejected. When we asked why it worked for the other woman the day before, staff said she “not all there,” as if she were dumb and didn’t know what she was doing. These are the same people from May 2025, so don’t tell me it’s a new owner. We never got to see the owner about the room because we were worried whether we’d get our money back. The staff treated my boyfriend and me horribly. The woman there at 3pm check-in was wonderful, but the men on staff made racist comments about guests after they left, asking things like, “What room were those black people in?” and, “What room did those black people check out of?” The owner was present after I called to complain, and just laughed. During breakfast, staff stalked us and forced us to eat in the lobby, as if we hadn’t paid like everyone else. They offered a discount on a future stay, but why would we return with staff acting this way and the owner laughing? It’s disgusting that this is still happening.

Heather went above and beyond to help everyone get what they needed. I loved my stay, and I’m really happy with how great the experience was.
