Hotel Blue

I’d give it five stars if there’d been shampoo and a coffee pot. This was my first stay. I was driving by before a long trip home and trying to figure out where I was supposed to stay, so I stopped in and checked the place out. It was clean and reasonably priced.

The room had just been remodeled and was excellent. The place was clean and well located. We tried it despite seeing better reviews, and I’d highly recommend it.

I won’t book here again or even consider this hotel. The woman at the front desk had a terrible attitude, and the way she spoke to customers on the phone was awful. People spend their hard-earned money to book a room and shouldn’t get rude, disrespectful service like this. It’s completely unacceptable. If I were the CEO of this company or Hotel Blue, I’d fire and replace her immediately. This kind of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated in a place where people are paying to stay.

We booked and confirmed online through a major booking site, then drove two hours to Hotel Blue. They found the reservation but said they wouldn’t honor it because the hotel had listed the price by mistake. They then wanted twice what I could book for on other websites. They had the booking for two hours and could have called, but didn’t. Misleading and deceptive practice, and poor business.
