For $100 a night, this worked out well. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly, and there was hot water. Breakfast and parking were free, too. Jack in the Box and Denny’s are right nearby if you want food. The carpets and bathroom felt like they were from the 1900s, the bathroom fan was loud, and the closet door needed replacing.

Both the evening and morning receptionists were really nice, and the room was clean with hot water and working heat. The room itself was dated, with peeling bathroom paint, and the shower was missing its top fitting, so you had to hold the shower head. Breakfast had no fresh fruit. We were on the ground floor beside the ice machine and got woken before 5:00 a.m. by people filling coolers. I'd avoid that room.

The room was clean, and the warm breakfast was delicious and served early. We had a great stay and will book here again.

Make sure nothing goes missing from the property during housekeeping, or because they can't find something. They'll charge you without telling you or asking questions. Alma Lopez, the manager, was useless and had no customer service skills. She charged us quickly, then said they couldn't refund us for their mistake. Maybe keep a closer eye on what staff do during their shifts.

We found this a nice place to stay in Delano. The service and food were good, and there are gas stations nearby. Denny's is within walking distance, and getting on and off the main highway is easy.
