Executive Inn Express Delhi

We got slow, rude service the whole time, and I won't be back. The coffee pot still had coffee in it when we arrived, and there was a hair in the bathtub. After our first night, we came back in the afternoon to find the cleaning staff had turned off the air, so the room was hot. We brought family to the pool, as management at other hotels has always allowed us to do, but here they immediately made us leave unless we wanted to pay per person. Another guest left his key in the room, and management wanted to charge him for a missing key after housekeeping picked it up.

I was tired and didn't pay close attention, and I ended up at the wrong hotel. The one I booked was next door. When the desk clerk charged my card, I told him I'd already paid and thought it might be for incidentals. He refunded the charge, but then said he'd keep a few dollars for processing. I asked twice how much that meant before he finally said $5. I know I should've been paying more attention, but still, $5. The front desk gentleman was very rude. I'll dispute it with my bank. Horrible service.

I had my 15-year-old daughter with me and felt so unsafe that I put a chair against the door to sleep. Two men were making verbal advances toward me and stood on the balcony above our room, in full view, for half the night. My husband was there too and confronted them over what they said. The room was unsanitary as well: stained, cigarette-burned bedding, no fitted sheets, and several lights out, including one with a broken bulb still in its socket and another because the outlet was halfway out of the wall. I asked for a refund. It was a long night with very little sleep. I'll never return, and I've told my booking agency this place shouldn't be listed as safe or clean, especially for women or children. I wouldn't give it even one star.

The heat worked well and the water was good, though the shower only got medium hot. The place is old, but you can see they try to maintain it. Still, the TV didn't work, and the ceiling fan was too dirty to turn on. The switch by the front door shut off all the electricity in the room, wall sockets included, which affected our CPAPs. The bed was soft on one side and hard on the other, and the box springs groaned like an old truck whenever you moved.
