I booked at the last minute online to visit friends, and it was an easy process. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and on the firm side, and there are lots of food options nearby. I didn't hear any traffic. The inside looks better than the outside, and I thought the staff did a good job with cleaning and upkeep. I don't understand the negative reviews. Since there's a no pet policy, I think pets may be behind some of the complaints. Great value, and I'll book again.

People talking outside all night made it too noisy. Folks stop to relax and sleep, and I don't think that kind of lingering should be allowed. Inside, though, it was comfortable and probably the cleanest motel room I've ever stayed in. The desk gentleman was really helpful, and the caretaker, TJ, went out of his way to make me feel at home, so I'll stay here whenever I'm in the area overnight. The little things I could overlook: no coffee maker or coffee, shampoo in a tiny packet that won't be enough for long hair, and very few TV channels if you want to watch something at night.

I wouldn't stay here again. People hang around outside all night, so it felt loud and uncomfortable. I was exhausted after work and needed somewhere to crash, and thought I'd booked a pet-friendly place. Apparently I hadn't. The owners or management watch the cameras and called my room or banged on the door because I had a dog. They were nice about letting the dog stay and didn't charge me, but the next morning someone working called to ask if I had a dog, even though we'd already sorted it out. They had clearly seen it on the cameras anyway. The room was outdated, uncomfortable, and unsanitary, with a dirty feel. I was paying all my hard-earned money for that, and cleanliness shouldn't be optional just because a motel is old. I could have gone somewhere cheaper and gotten the same dirty ambiance. These places charge too much for the hassle of trying to get more money when they can't even clean. I was just ready to leave. I didn't complain about the room. The lady at the desk was so nice, and the maintenance lady was nice too. Even though she banged on my door to ask about the dog, she came back and said not to worry about paying. I appreciated that, since I'd spent every dime I had booking this trash. Spend the extra money to go to main stay suites across the street. I just didn't have a choice that night.

There was nowhere to set anything by the bathroom sink. It was mounted on the wall with no counter, so I had to pull a chair in and lay something flat across its arms to make a surface for my toothbrush, toothpaste, and other things.
