I've been back several times over the years, and I think my first visit was around 1975. It really hasn't changed much. The shower has excellent water pressure. If you're trying to work out the heat or AC remote, I included pictures to explain it. You need to slide part of it down to get to the settings.

It's a treat having both a pool and the ocean just a few steps away. There's also live music, food, and a Tiki bar at the neighboring Motel, all within walking distance. Wonderful location.

The pool was falling apart and recently hurt my kids. Staff didn't seem to care. It's a great spot to watch foxes taking a shit on the hotel roof.

The sundeck above the beach is a great place to enjoy the ocean view without getting sand everywhere. The grounds and landscaping around the rooms and pool look lovely, and the property is well maintained. Our room was clean, the maid service was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We've had many wonderful stays at The Colony Beach Motel over the past several years and plan to keep coming back whenever we can. We love it so much that we almost don't want to share the secret and risk hearing "No Vacancy." The owner, management, and staff are awesome, always friendly and sincere, and make us feel at home. The property is in great shape, and the owner keeps making it even nicer. The season isn't over yet, so we're hoping to squeeze in a couple more stays!
