Motel 6 Riverton, WY

The room I was given had no power, and the bathroom door had been ripped off its hinges. This was my second try at finding a hotel in Riverton. The manager gave me a full refund, which was the only positive. He was a very nice guy.

I was seriously disappointed. The exterior door let in a draft, the bathroom was tiny and had no door, and there was a small step over the shower frame. The walls and floors were stained, the furniture was worn, ripped, and damaged, and the AC cover was held up with duct tape while the unit was caked in dirty lint. The room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Staff weren't exactly friendly or knowledgeable, and the office no longer offers the free coffee it advertises. I'd go somewhere else in town.

The owner is amazing and is trying to revamp the hotel, and the staff are awesome. That's why I still gave it four stars. The rooms are dated, the walkways and trash cans need pressure washing, and room cleaning needs improvement. The floors aren't clean, they use dirty water.

The room had been cleaned, but there was blood on the ceiling and something red stuck on a chair. Then in the morning I found a BEDBUG, which was a nasty surprise. At night my girlfriend went for a walk, and some guy who wasn't from the hotel followed her and called out a few times. He stopped when she returned to the hotel.
