Town and Country Inn

I booked three rooms a day for my family for two weeks. The hotel was full of gnats, and there was no soap or shampoo. It's the dirtiest hotel in America, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The management are good people, and the place was peaceful and very clean. A great spot to book a room.

There were cockroaches here. We'd been there less than an hour when I saw one crawling across the floor and took a photo. My husband caught it and brought it to the front desk, but the staff member didn't want to refund my money. After we argued about how unacceptable it was, he finally did, and we left. DO NOT RECOMMEND. DON'T STAY OR GO THERE! INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES!

The manager yelled at his wife as if she'd messed up my booking just because I'd booked online. He angrily grabbed the paper from her hand and demanded to see proof on my phone of what I'd paid, asking how I'd gotten that price. I felt scared, standing there showing my phone and waiting for a key card. I arrived 15 minutes early and didn't mind waiting for the room to be cleaned. While I sat in my car, the housekeeper knocked on the window to say the room was ready. The manager hadn't told her he'd switched us to a different room that still needed cleaning, so I felt bad as she hurried to get it ready while I waited with my children and husband. We also saw an angry homeless man who couldn't get his door open, and another person riding a bike with things hanging from it who looked homeless. I was already uneasy, and that made it worse. Once we got into the room, its door wouldn't shut properly, with gaps around it from top to bottom and on every side. There was no extra latch. The bathroom window lock was broken, and the window beside our bed had a stick propped against it to keep it from opening. I was so anxious that night I put a chair by the knob, and I was still worried about the window. The cooler wasn't in its usual spot by a bed either, but over by the restroom, so the room couldn't get fresh air. I definitely won't come back to a place like this.
