Budget Inn Denver Downtown

The location and view are wonderful, but my second stay was a big disappointment compared with the first. I was given a key to a room that someone was already occupying, got charged more than my reservation price, and had toilets that didn't work. I had to keep contacting the hotel to get them fixed. Then I opened drawers and found a bunch of trash. I told the front office right away, and the girl said there was a list of other guests with dirty rooms too. I'm not sure what housekeeping is doing. I canceled my May 2026 booking and will find another nearby hotel. I disputed the overcharge with hotels.com. They said they'd worked with the hotel to refund the difference so I would pay the amount originally quoted, but the hotel refused. I'd avoid staying here so close to the holidays, when rates may triple and the rooms may be dirty.

Angelique, the manager, was welcoming and attentive as soon as I arrived. The location is ideal, just a short walk to downtown and the major attractions. I had a fantastic stay at Budget Inn and would absolutely recommend it. A five-star experience!

My favorite part was how peaceful and quiet the property was at night. Angelique was a fantastic host, and the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I got there. Check-in was quick and easy. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, with fresh linens and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.

Agoda messed up my reservation over something to do with a virtual card, and going back and forth was really frustrating. Melody, the front desk clerk at Budget, stayed patient and friendly and was very accommodating. Her customer service went above and beyond. Thanks so much, Melody, you're an all-star!
