We’d had a phenomenal stay at another Element, with great breakfast, free wine and beer at happy hour, tea in the evening, and kind, helpful staff. We came here with high hopes, but this one fell short. The breakfast area was dirty and the food wasn’t good: dry, overcooked sausage, soggy eggs, and a parfait with canned fruit instead of fresh. There were crumbs in the visibly dirty cup holding the utensils. Even without the extras the other Element offered, the breakfast should at least be edible. The couch in our room also had a suspicious white stain. We’re disappointed and ready to leave. The parking setup is wild. There’s plenty of parking, but a third party charges $15 a day plus tax. We were using a rental car and entered some information incorrectly by accident, but couldn’t change it. The third party’s system isn’t user friendly, with no way to edit the information or speak with anyone. The front desk person seemed irritated and kept saying they use a third party and couldn’t do anything.

Really hope I get to stay here again sometime. It was affordable, clean, bright, and open, and the breakfast was excellent. All the food looked appealing, and they even had my favorite cereal, Lucky Charms, with strawberries to put on top. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time!

I slept so well in the comfy beds, and the salt water pool was relaxing. There are bikes in the lobby for a sunset stroll, plus plenty of local food within walking distance. Kirby made me feel wonderfully welcome at check-in, and the kitchen team treated me like a VIP at the morning continental breakfast. Marc had a great personality and made sure everyone had enough fresh food and drinks. The General Manager Lou helped book my trip and was super accommodating and professional. I was extremely impressed and highly recommend staying here to family and friends. 🧡

Being close to the rental car location made it easy to fill up at the gas station across the street before heading to the airport. This Marriott property is comfortable, clean, and good quality for its price range. I’ve stayed a couple of times, though this latest visit wasn’t quite as good. My first room looked like cleaning hadn’t been finished, but the front desk quickly moved me and upgraded me for the trouble. Breakfast used to include a chef cooking on a hot griddle. Now it’s a hot buffet with mass-produced potatoes and eggs.

The room was clean, and the employees were great throughout my stay. The airport van costs extra, but the fee isn’t shown with the initial reservation. It’s buried in the amenities section, and hotel taxes and fees are then added, so it ends up costing more than the listed amount. There were some quirks in the room too. The motion-activated closet light would switch on even with the doors shut, so don’t move in your sleep, or be a heavy sleeper and miss it. The shower had multi-use soap and shampoo, but no washcloths. The bed had only a comforter, no top sheet. I’ve seen that in more and more hotels over the last few years.
