Clayton Hotel & Members Club - Cherry Creek, Denver

Kara, Marcos, and Nick made the restaurant and club a highlight for us. They were attentive, kind, and brought a fun energy whenever we saw them. The hotel itself felt both luxurious and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere and rooms that were thoughtfully designed. We also really liked the Member’s Club. It’s a unique place to meet people and build connections. The whole staff was pleasant and professional, and we had a great stay.

At the Clayton Hotel, A.B. stood out as a bartender and as part of the team. They were warm from the start, remembered names, and gave smart drink suggestions. The drinks were carefully made and nicely presented, and A.B. stayed calm under pressure while working well with the team. The service felt dependable and memorable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. If you’re visiting, ask for A.B. for great hospitality and drinks.

We had such a good time celebrating my friend’s birthday at the rooftop restaurant, and we’ll definitely be back. The Cherry Creek views were beautiful, the restaurant and hotel were decorated nicely, and the location was ideal. Service was exceptional, and the drinks were top notch.

Tyler and the rest of the staff were wonderful and tried hard to work with me. Still, I’m checking out because I wanted to stay in Cherry Creek and this place isn’t a traditional hotel. It operates as a members-only club, more like a country club without a golf course, and that crowd may like it, but it wasn’t for me. The lobby is a bar at night, then feels empty and depressing during the day. Dining is on the second floor and felt like a cafeteria, shared with members, so I didn’t feel like I was staying at a hotel. I felt as if I was helping cover their fees by staying in a small, ugly room. My first room felt like a coffin; the replacement faced the street and was fine. The room decor reminded me of a YMCA or hostel, and I wondered if the furniture was new or repurposed. I’d rather eat for three nights than stay here. I’m sorry to leave a bad review, but people should know what they’re getting into.
