I've watched Mi Kasa improve so much over the years. I first found it when it opened, while looking for a dog-friendly hot spring, and now I go every year. It's my favorite place to recommend to friends and anyone wanting a genuine hot spring retreat for rest and relaxation. It's special and inviting, and the owners are amazing. There are lots of tucked-away spots for private conversation or a meal. The place puts real heart and soul into a private hot spring experience. The indoor pool is wonderful, the outdoor pool is a great place to hang out, and some rooms have lovely private tubs. There's also a gorgeous koi pond with fish that look healthy and happy. The attentive staff keeps everything consistently clean.

Bad weather meant there were few other guests when I visited, so I treated Mi Kasa like my own home. Thanks to AI Skyler, staff were pleasantly out of sight apart from regular maintenance, which made it feel homey. The grounds have an outdoor mini jacuzzi, koi pond, native bushes and desert plants, hammocks, a green turf area, and other things. Skyler handled everything impressively, with staff backing it up when needed. A new reading lamp arrived within five minutes.

I checked in and out by text, which was super easy. After staying at five different places around Palm Springs, I really like Mi Kasa's laid-back, clothing-optional vibe. It's peaceful and quiet, easily the best part. I was looking for mineral pools and a 420-friendly place to unwind after a long day, and was pleasantly surprised. I've stayed in two king rooms, both with kitchens. One had a private outdoor bathtub. The beds were super comfortable, and the AC was quiet too.

We'd never been to Mikasa or anywhere like it, and the welcome felt open to everyone. Over our three-day stay, my wife and I enjoyed meeting other guests, getting closer to each other, and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. Every worker and guest we met was amazing. We had such a good time that I can't picture a year going by without coming back at least once. Spend some time by the Koi pond and enjoy the amazing amenities. You end up wanting for nothing, and it was a perfectly planned experience that I wouldn't trade for anything.

The guests are just great people, whether they're visiting for the first time or have been here before. Everyone is friendly and genuine. One returning guest, who wasn't being paid to say it, greeted everyone with, "Welcome to paradise." We first visited when Mi Kasa opened, and it was already great. Matthew and Izzy have made so many improvements over the years, and now it's simply phenomenal. If you enjoy luxury, high-end, welcoming spas that are clothing optional and nonjudgmental but non-lifestyle, you'll adore this place.
