Dec 20-22 2025. We celebrated a friend's 49th birthday in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It was my first visit to The Good House, which was originally called The Hacienda. Our room, #7, was just right, with a little kitchenette and patio. The natural warm-spring pool was lovely. They offer a light menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with cocktails. We'll definitely be back. No kids allowed.

The grounds at this "motel" are beautiful, and all the plants make the place feel calm. The pool's great, and I already miss it. The staff were impressive across the board. Van made sure our stay was incredible and surprised us with a wonderful Valentine's Day breakfast. The "van"cakes were so, so good. Highly recommend.

From the grounds to the water, the whole place feels like another world. The landscaping seems like it must have taken 50-plus years to grow, and there are different spots that feel just right for healing activities. The waters are fantastic, the rooms are great, and the patios make them special. Service was personal and outstanding from booking through check-in, arrival, meals, and drinks. It's magical.

We had a very nice stay overall. The hot tub and pool sit under lovely trees, and sunlight coming through the leaves gave the place a poetic feel. The food was amazing, and the chef was very nice. The staff were kind, with genuine smiles and good energy. Our couples massage was out of this world. If you want somewhere quiet and tranquil, this is the place.

We went for a day pass and would probably stay at the hotel next time. It was so relaxing, and the hosts were lovely and welcoming. Poolside we had food made with the freshest ingredients and drinks, with a laid-back vibe. One pool was 103-105 and the other was in the 90s. Both felt great, and there was no sulfur smell.
