The Yucca Hotel

The vegan breakfast at The Yuuca was so good that I still wish I could wake up to it every morning. I usually miss my dogs when I travel, but Sushi, the friendly and loving on-site pup, made being away from them easier. It’s a special desert getaway, conveniently close to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. I loved my stay.

The mineral pool was my favorite. I loved swimming among the olive trees with the mountains around me, and sitting in the mineral hot tub to watch the stars at night was incredible. It’s a great way to unwind after exploring Joshua Tree, and the location also makes Palm Springs easy to reach. I could see it working well for a Coachella stay, too. The vegan breakfast alone is a reason to book. I’m not vegan, but I’ve never had a better hotel breakfast. I even ate mine on a floating pool tray, which made for a fun photo. The decor is full of thoughtful details, the bedding was super comfortable, and the mountain views were beautiful. Heart Core hotels combines luxury with an eco-friendly approach in a way that really impressed me. Tony and Gaby’s love for the property comes through, and their warm hospitality adds a lot to the experience. Their dedication to sustainability shows throughout. This vegan, eco-friendly spot in the desert is a gem.

Such a lovely LA getaway. The team were welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and had a chill reset, including morning yoga before breakfast. The plant-based food was so yummy. I’ll definitely be back soon :)

A hidden gem in DHS, The Yucca is just right for unplugging and relaxing. The vegan food is so delicious, you’d never guess it’s vegan. The owners and their dog Sushi are the sweetest. Highly recommend!
