Sandpiper Cove 2016

I loved the private beach. This is the only place I want to stay now. The time could use some updating.

We booked this getaway at the last minute, and knew as soon as we arrived that Sandpiper Cove was the right choice. Security greeted us with a warm smile, explained what we needed to know, and sent us on our way to the condo. Our ground-floor studio was beautiful. The spa-quality bathroom and garden tub were on the left, then the space opened into a lovely, fully equipped kitchen. There was a cute little bar with three stools, plus a separate table and stools for extra seating. The living and sleeping area was adorable, with a pullout sofa, recliner, and queen bed just two steps from the balcony. Deck chairs there faced a semi-private pool and hot tub next to a grilling area. The private beach is just across the street. We love it here and will definitely be back!

This was our fourth time at Sandpiper Cove, and the private beach is wonderful, with beach service at a reasonable price. Our condo could have been great, but the cleaner was late and there was a roach infestation. They sprayed during our stay, but we were stuck there, which made the experience unfortunate.

The Sandpiper Cove condominiums were really nice, and I had a great vacation in Destin. There's a private beach right across the street that you can walk to. Several kid activities are close by along the same highway, with lots of restaurants nearby too. There's also an upscale restaurant on the property.
