The people working here are so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are spotless with really comfortable beds. They keep the grounds in great shape too, and the pool is excellent. Even in the 'winter' they heat the indoor pool, so it's comfortable to use. I don't usually write reviews, but wanted to give the staff credit for all their hard work.

The pool situation put us off right away. There was debris floating in the indoor pool and a milky, foamy substance on top, so we didn't try swimming. Its room windows were filthy, and the outdoor pool looked a little better but still dirty. Our room also felt grimy and worn, with peeling paint, scuffed surfaces, and grime in the corners. The sheets had stains and there was hair on them. We couldn't tell if they'd been washed. We checked for bugs and didn't find any, which was good. We slept on top of our own blankets. The air had a strong musty, moldy smell, and the AC was loud and seemed to make it worse. We felt sick during the stay, which hasn't happened to us on a trip before. Then there was an overpowering artificial cleaning-product smell that seemed like it might be covering up other problems. The elevator was very slow, smelled like something electrical burning, and didn't feel safe. We had trouble finding a staircase, and the exit and stair signs were hard to spot. Breakfast wasn't appetizing, especially with the cleanliness issues, and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The online impression was good, but the actual place wasn't. We would have changed hotels, except everywhere else was booked and we were only there briefly. We didn't have to spend much time in the room, luckily. We wouldn't recommend it.

We were just three miles from the beach, and traffic around here wasn't bad. The pools were great, and the hot tub was just right. Location, atmosphere, and staff were all lovely. This place was perfect for us, and I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel was generally comfortable, though there was a bit of deodorizer smell in the room. Breakfast was good, and the price was fair. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Josie, who works with the breakfasts. She was so nice to talk to and went out of her way to help. The front desk and management were kind and helpful too.
