Bring an eye mask. The rooms don’t have blackout curtains. There’s also no parking inside the building, and I paid $24 for parking in the lot to the east from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m., even though its daily maximum was listed as $12. Check-in was a mess when we arrived at 10 p.m. The garage in the instructions was locked and fenced off, with no way in. Customer service just read the instructions back to me, said they’d contact someone onsite, and never called back. If it happens to you, wait by the front door or garage gate and try to get in with a resident. Then use the elevator code from the check-in email to reach your floor, enter the room code on the keypad, and look for the key fob on the kitchen counter. Hopefully the codes are correct. Once you have the fob, getting into the building and elevator is easy.

The apartment itself was nice and clean, but getting in was such a headache that I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. The emailed garage directions were wrong, there was no parking space, and we ended up in a muddy lot attached to the police department. After the garage confusion, we had to walk all the way around to the front of the building. No door code had been sent, so we waited outside for more than 20 minutes until someone leaving let us in. Then the room code was missing too. It took four phone calls before we finally got inside. The email should have clearly explained how to access the front door, elevator, and apartment.

The gym and recreation area were nice, and the hotel was near places to eat without much foot traffic around. It had the look of a luxury hotel, but some things needed attention: one of the drinks was a bit clogged, a few closet shelves were broken, and the shower head had a noticeable amount of rust.

I stayed at the mint for a month and loved it. The apartment had a built-in washer and dryer and dishwasher, along with modern amenities. It was very clean and felt safe, and the location was good. I highly recommend it.
