The home-cooked breakfasts were delicious, and I’d happily stay in the Rhythm Section Suite again. I spent several days at The Cochrane House and found it clean, comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing. I was welcomed with the same kindness and professionalism each day. It has the close, personal feel of a bed and breakfast with the atmosphere of a luxury hotel. If you’re in the city and want a getaway without leaving it, this is a lovely option. I’m already looking forward to another visit.

We were a little unsure about trying a bed and breakfast since we’d never stayed in one, but one of the owners greeted us and took care of everything we needed. The Cochrane House is beautifully decorated, modern, and immaculately clean. It’s in a perfect location, and the service was top notch. My husband and I definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was the highlight for me, easily the best I’ve ever had. It was delicious and carefully prepared, and made the stay memorable. The hosts made us feel welcome from beginning to end, too. The Cochrane House is a beautiful historic home in Detroit, close to everything while still feeling like a proper escape. It’s fun, unusual, and affordable for a bed and breakfast. We can’t wait to return.

Rica and Cina made us feel like family, even though this was our first stay at The Cochrane House. My husband and I came for a night away and left very happy. We’d never tried a bed and breakfast before, so weren’t sure what to expect, but breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious. We’d love to stay again.

The soaking tub and their bath salts were exactly what I needed for a relaxing night away. The hosts were some of the kindest people I’ve met and made us feel so welcome. The food was amazing, honestly reason enough to book again. I could say so many good things about this lovely place. Thanks for creating such a welcoming space.
