I’m done staying here. After my coworker left an expensive portable charger in the room, he went back for it and nobody had seen anything. On top of that, they take $50 per night up front. I was there for work Monday through Friday, and they charged $200 for four nights, which didn’t come back until 1 to 2 business days after checkout. When I returned Monday for the second week of the job, they charged another $207 even though the first $200 still hadn’t been refunded. The check-in setup is bull shit, and our company won’t be staying there again.

The breakfast setup was the one frustrating part of our six-day stay. The food was decent, but staff seemed swamped trying to restock it, along with utensils and other essentials, so things ran short and guests had to wait. The rest of the visit was pleasant: check-in was quick and easy, and our room was clean, roomy, and comfortable after long days. A little more attention to breakfast would make the stay better.

Carl at the front desk was really professional and kind. He was always welcoming and helped whenever he could, and he went out of his way to be hospitable to my friend and me. That kind of service deserves a raise!

We had a lovely stay at the Cobblestone Inn. Our one complaint was that breakfast ended too early. On weekends, it should run until 10 a.m.; 9 a.m. is fine on weekdays.

There’s a heated fish-cleaning house right on site, which is handy when you’re fishing Devils lk. ND. A good place to stay.
