It’s an average, low-cost inn, but a few things got in the way. Some outlets didn’t work, the bedroom lights were too dim, and although the lights did work, the TV buttons wouldn’t change channels. I couldn’t find the remote either. It could use some improvements.

The room smelled bad and didn’t feel sanitary. It looked dated, with an air conditioner coming apart, new vinyl-type flooring without trim, and sheetrock patchwork. The upstairs stairs were badly swollen and bowed, so they didn’t look safe. There’s no pool either. After I checked out, I raised my concerns at the office and got a full refund; the man there was pleasant to deal with. He asked if he could write down “change of plans” instead of the real issue, so I reported him to booking (dot) com. I’d sleep in my car before staying here.

The room smelled strongly of smoke and other strange odors, and we didn’t feel clean there. There were stains across the walls, cracks, and water-damage marks on the ceiling. The AC only blew warm air. We won’t be back. The interior needs updating and the place needs remodeling.

The first room was dirty, with dead bugs on the floor and hair in the bathroom. There was no way to adjust the AC, and the room was 82 degrees. They moved us to a better room, but it smelled of cigarette smoke and Lysol, and the old beds were uncomfortable. Outside, cigarette butts were all over, there was an old baby seat under the stairs, and the concrete supporting the upper walkway was crumbling in places. This place is a dump inside and out. It’s hard to understand why some owners put in the effort when others don’t. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
