Flamingo Resort-Lake George

The owner is friendly, professional, and accommodating, and Sue has been a fantastic addition to the staff as general manager. The beach, dual sun decks, grounds, and cabins are clean and comfortable. We’ve been coming here for four years, after being displaced from Capri Village next door, and have grown to love it. The sun decks are especially nice at night. We’re hoping to return for years to come.

It was my first visit to Flamingo Resort, though my sister, nephew, his wife, and son had stayed a couple of times already and loved the place, the staff, and the peaceful lake. I agree with them. Our unit had a great lake view, and Tom, Gary, and the rest of the team were friendly and accommodating. They work hard to make the stay enjoyable. I’ll be back next summer.

We just got back from a mini vacation at Flamingo, and we can’t wait to return. Our three-bedroom, two-bath place was clean, beautifully landscaped, and had a huge, well-stocked kitchen and living room. Tom lit our fire pit each night and was available whenever we had a question or needed something. The place is awesome, and the staff are great.

The property is beautiful on Lake George, and we keep seeing improvements each year. Susan, the office manager, does a great job keeping the place comfortable and well maintained for all guests, and the housekeeping and grounds teams are awesome too. Some large groups behaved inappropriately and took over facilities, but the office staff handled the disputes quickly. I’d give Flamingo Resort more stars if I could.
