Olympian Resort Motel

The room was uncomfortable to relax in because smoke from other guests, both marijuana and cigarettes, kept coming straight inside. There was no heat, one panel in the glass door was broken so people could see in, and a large gap sat under the door. The bathroom floor had long black hairs all over it, though neither of us has black hair. That was unacceptable. Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, and the coffee maker had no coffee. Towels were only exchanged at the front desk from 11 AM to 1 PM, which was inconvenient if you needed to leave earlier. The stay fell short on cleanliness, security, and basic amenities.

The room had lovely natural wood decor, and the beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed being able to swim in the lake’s clear water. We’re not usually pool people, though the pool here is large and delightful, with big sun umbrellas and everything needed. There’s a grill by the shore that’s great for anyone who enjoys grilling and having a party. The center of Lake George is close by, with entertainment, restaurants, and cruises. We loved the peaceful natural setting and want to return with the whole family next year. We recommend it. Thanks to the organizers!

It was our second visit, and we’ve already booked the next one. My husband, my two grandsons, ages six and nine, and I really enjoy staying here. The dock is great for fishing or just spending time by the water, and the pool is clean and roomy. Our room was clean and just right. The location is close to LG and BL. Wendy is down to earth, easy to talk with, and full of useful information. She makes you feel at home.

The game room is a lovely place to gather, and so are the fire pit and picnic area. This was our second visit to Olympian Village, and we liked it even more this time. Such a nice family getaway.
