I checked in and paid by card, then went to the hospital for a shoulder injury. When I came back and checked the room, there were bedbugs on the bed. They wouldn’t refund me and suggested another room, but I didn’t want to try a different room after finding bugs. The manager said no to the refund, so I had to leave for another motel. It’s a nasty place, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who cares about their health and hygiene.

My original room smelled like human urine and the TV didn’t work, so I had to move. The second room wasn’t clean either. The floor was sticky, the fridge had no shelves, the A/C barely worked, the shower curtain was moldy, there were roaches, and the TV barely worked. This place was awful. I’d told them I didn’t want room service and would bring my towels down for fresh ones. When I returned, they’d been in my room and gone through my bags and belongings, but hadn’t left fresh towels, toilet paper, or trash bags. I was furious. The owner had several yelling matches with guests, which was very disappointing. After a family member died and I learned my mother was sick too, I had to leave two days early. The owner refused to refund anything and said he’d rent the room again and collect more money. I stayed one more night so he couldn’t make money on my room, then let my friend use it the last night. Good riddance.

A quick weekend getaway from Dothan, Al. The room was very clean, and I liked having a mini fridge and microwave. The sink was really hard to turn on, though, and the door key was lousy, making the door difficult to open.

The customer service was awesome. They were really nice and friendly, and the room was clean. But the floor was wet and the room smelled moldy because Hurricane Michael had damaged the roof. I just couldn’t stay there.

We helped clean the shower because it was extremely disgusting, and the rag used to wipe the tub had to be thrown away. The nightly price is outrageous. A friend was charged somewhere between $50-60 a night. Stay elsewhere, y’all.
