That whole weekend at The Dorrington Hotel felt special, from our Friday night party at The Lube Room through the wedding and our slow departure on Sunday. The Lube Room had good food, live music, and more than 100 guests there for the kickoff. On the wedding day, we went from a meadow ceremony to drinks around the bar, dinner, dancing under string lights, and fire pits. Lori and her staff kept everything on time and handled the details with a lot of care. The whole team made us feel like family. We chose the venue after touring it and meeting Lori, the owner and on-site wedding coordinator. She was friendly, fun, and answered our questions confidently. You could tell she was proud of the improvements she’d made over the past ten years and cared deeply about the place. During planning, she helped with rentals, logistics, vendor coordination, and ideas. We brought in portable restrooms and an ice cream truck, among other things, and she made sure vendors knew where to go and everything fit the layout. She quickly became someone we trusted and felt like a friend. The grounds gave us the outdoor wedding we wanted, with room for 250 people, trees, mountain scenery, and flexibility to make the space our own. Our close family and wedding party stayed in the hotel, and the cottage gave us, the bride and groom, a private spot nearby. The Lube Room next door was also a fun place for drinks, dancing, and live music. We got married on September 6th, and the day and weekend were just right. I wouldn’t change anything. We’ll come back for future celebrations, and we recommend The Dorrington Hotel to anyone looking for a scenic outdoor venue with a team that goes above and beyond. Thanks to Lori and the crew for making it unforgettable.

The hot cocoa was spot on at the Christmas tree lighting, which is a lovely family event. They have drinks for the adults too.

The rooms and beds were cozy, and the pillows were really comfortable. We rented the hotel, the little cottage for the newlyweds, and the venue. The whole place is beautiful, and the experience was wonderful. Lori was especially great to work with, very organized and quick to reply to emails. Absolutely recommend it!

A quiet getaway or a special event would both suit The dorrington hotel. It’s a quaint, charming place on a huge property, with redwoods all around and mountains in the distance, so the setting is especially pretty for a wedding. Right next door, The Lube Room has the best beers and burgers in town, plus live music. Highly recommend.

I love staying here. The staff are wonderful and really helpful when you're planning an event. I've had a New Years party here and also attended one of the most beautiful weddings. There's so much charm, and I highly recommend hosting an event here.
