The low price came with low quality, poor upkeep, and hardly any amenities. I'd pay a little more somewhere else and feel better knowing my pet isn't at risk of picking something up in the room.

The worst hotel stay of my life, and I've traveled a lot for work. I'm 46 now, and my first job was housekeeping at a Hampton Inn when I was 15. The noise from housekeeping carts sounded like a demolition crew, and I saw them using metal grocery carts. I believe they were stolen. The room noise upstairs went on for three hours while we tried to sleep. When I called about it, the man said it was housekeeping, and we tried to be patient. We are two disabled women with service dogs, fleeing domestic violence. Everything seemed fine at check-in, and I paid $75 to stay an extra day so we could sleep. After I went to get food, the man came to our room and demanded another $20 for the dogs. I complained about the fee and the noise and said he should credit us. He threatened to call the police and kick us out, even though we had a legitimate complaint. At the office I showed him my legal ADA paperwork. He claimed he didn't know about the dogs, and it felt like he was trying to get more money because we'd complained. He had charged us in violation of ADA rules, so I showed him the service dog document. He returned the $20. I said I wouldn't write a review, just so we could stay the night safely. He tried to assert dominance over us because we complained and were right. He was very wrong. What if we were your mother, sister, or grandmother? The man terrorized us. Now I'll make all the noise I want. I worked in customer service and management, traveling a lot for work and fun, and I'll use those skills to deal with this appalling treatment. I'm contacting the ADA about the violation and corporate if there is one. I'll post on every social media platform and tell people by word of mouth. Women and disabled guests with pets should pick a different hotel if they want a peaceful stay. Why were we charged $75 when the room rate online is $42? We extended the stay and he charged two vulnerable women nearly double. That's unfair. I'm on disability and report abuses to the federal government through my specialists. My doctors work under state and federal ADA laws. @FBI

The place was filthy, and I was put in a disgusting room. There were cigarette burns in the tub, a stink bug inside, and the doors and floors were nasty. You could feel the dirt in the air. I lasted 20 minutes before going somewhere else, and I'm never coming back.

We drove two and a half hours home after turning in the key card. The place looked like a motel, and I wouldn't sleep in one of those beds even if I had to stay in my car. From the road it was a total eyesore, the room was hideous, and there were people pushing shopping carts around the parking lot. The man at the service desk was barefoot, too. The whole presentation felt scary.
