Ramada by Wyndham Studio Suites Dothan

I’ve stayed here for years and never had a problem. The rooms are always ready and very clean, and when I ask for dishes, they’re fully stocked. Rebecca is always so sweet. The hotel is in a good area, close to everything. I’ll stay here whenever I visit Dothan.

The people working here made a big difference. Carol gave us a warm welcome at check-in and introduced us right away to Rebecca, the general manager. They were smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Rebecca is such a sweet, hardworking person, and I’m glad I got a photo with her. The hotel itself is no-frills but immaculately clean, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a good place to get some rest at the Ramada if you’re visiting family in Dothan or heading to Florida.

I booked by accident, but was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. The staff were absolutely wonderful and friendly. The AC worked well, and I didn’t mind the small grab-and-go breakfast. I actually prefer that kind. The bed was thin and squeaky, and the mattress looked kind of gross, so I checked it over before sleeping. I didn’t find anything bad. You can hear the road easily, and trucks drove by all night.

This happened around midnight on the night of November 7-8. I’d stayed at this hotel two years ago and remembered it fondly, so I changed my route and drove an extra hour to stay there again. The staff back then were much better. I’d just finished a 12-hour drive and was exhausted. As I walked in from the parking lot, an employee was receiving a food delivery at reception. He looked at me and asked, “How can I help you?” in a very rude way. I said I wasn’t there to eat with him, I just wanted to book a room. He replied, “No reservation,” turned away, and walked inside.
