Indian Creek Lodge

I’m so grateful to the two people who helped us through a horrible night. They took the time to find a solution and made things much easier, especially while I was caring for my 2-year-old. Their kindness turned the night around. I can’t put into words how much I appreciated it. I’ll stay here whenever I come back and keep my business here. I highly recommend the place. The Trinity River was a lovely part of the stay, with geese around and the occasional fish jumping into view. The lodge itself felt comfortable and peaceful, too. Hannah at the front desk was especially sweet and helpful. We truly loved staying here.

I could have sat by the river for ages. There’s a swinging bench and Adirondack chairs right at the edge, and it was so relaxing to spend time there. The property is beautiful and peaceful, set right on the Trinity River. Behind the hotel, a huge grassy space has barbeques and plenty of room for little and big kids to play. Loved it.

The grounds are what made this place so memorable for us. The wide lawn, sitting spots, river, and mountain were unbelievably beautiful and calm. We watched fish jump, ducks paddle by, and birds flit around. The room was immaculate, with a comfy bed and a very clean bathroom, and Leah and Crystalynn were wonderful, accommodating hosts. Everyone was super kind during our two-night stay. We’ve traveled across the country several times, and this is one of our favorite places ever. A big thank you to the people who run it.
