Tru by Hilton San Antonio Lackland Sea World

It's a great basic place to stay, with air and heat, a fridge and a microwave downstairs. The only things I'd change are the rusty shower fixtures, which could use polishing, and the lack of a closet, since there's just a rack. The customer service was top notch, and the hot and cold breakfast was the best. I really enjoyed my stay. 10/10, I'd recommend it.

The room was decent, good enough for one night, but the bed was almost uncomfortable. We could hear bathroom doors closing in other rooms, and that woke my husband and me in the middle of the night. Breakfast barely counted as breakfast. There were waffles, cereal, muffins, apples, bananas, and oranges, but no protein at all, no eggs, sausage, or bacon.

I've stayed here a couple of times before and have enjoyed it every time. This visit I really needed to check in early so I could rest before working nights this week. Madison at the front desk was wonderful and helped me get in early. Thanks for understanding and for all your help, Madison. I'll recommend this place and keep staying here on future visits.

We just arrived, and Madison welcomed us and quickly took care of everything we needed. We only had to ask once. She made sure we were settled, then followed up with a message. She really made the difference. When you go to a hotel, you want a welcoming, pleasant person who helps and makes sure you have a good stay. We feel at home, and now we're ready for SeaWorld, six flags, and everything San Antonio has to offer.
