That seared duck is still on my mind. I honestly haven't had it better, and it was perfect in every way. My date loved the Fennel Seared Scallops, too. We started with Maryland Crab Cakes, which were good, and Oysters Rockefeller, though those weren't as good as others I've tried. The cheesecake had just the right taste and texture. Service was excellent, and we'll definitely be back.

The building's history is really cool, so make sure to read about it while you're dining. We had the St patty’s day Irish specials this time: Smoked Salmon Boxty and a phenomenal mustard glazed corned beef with cabbage. I wish they served that more than once a year. The food and service are always great here.

The restaurant is a real gem, and both breakfast and dinner were phenomenal. Every dish was full of flavor and made with care, and you can see the chef's talent. They take allergies seriously, and since everything is made from scratch, I felt confident eating there safely. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, and our room was spotless and well appointed. A wonderful stay.

The duck was delicious, with a sauce that added flavor without overpowering the meat. The au gratin potatoes were tasty, and the presentation was top level. Dinner was exquisite tonight, just like every time we've eaten here since Chef Chris took over.
