Jim and Nan, along with manager Brian, have been so kind and accommodating. I’ve been raising my girls here safely and happily for over a year, and I can’t imagine choosing anywhere else in Delaware. There’s a lovely community feel, and the marvelous garden and other amenities are more than I could ask for. The location is close to everything but still private enough to feel far away. I love this place and hope I can stay as long as I’m blessed to.

I stayed for seven weeks while between houses. The place was clean and very nice, with its own entrance, and it was furnished well enough for a comfortable stay, though it didn’t have an actual stove. Grocery and convenience stores were within walking distance. I’d stay again if I needed to.

The garden is incredible, and the rooms are amazing. I’ve stayed at nice hotels around the world, but Dover Garden Suites is easily the best. I like it so much I’m thinking about making another trip just to stay here again. Jim and Nan are EXTREMELY nice. I can’t understand the poor ratings, and I have a sneaking suspicion those two reviewers are some of “those” people. You know the ones. Take my advice and stay here. I can’t say enough good things about it.

I’ve visited twice now, and even with limited free time I felt I had to share how much I enjoyed Dover Garden Suites. The private patio entrance and relaxing time in the jacuzzi were both great. The Thai decor is lovely, the suites are very spacious, and the staff are helpful. Everything was perfect, and it’s a great option if you want privacy. I’ll be back before the end of the year to enjoy the comfort of the place again.

It’s a beautiful establishment, family owned and run, I believe. When you arrive, they show you around the suite and exterior, explain how some of the amenities work, and, if there’s time, tell you the story of how it all came to be, lol. There’s secure parking and daily room service with the minibar replenished. This was excellent and worth everything. Jim was simply outstanding, and it felt like staying with family. I’ll be back!
