I booked here for a quick stay after a pipe broke, and it was the worst decision. The doors were locked when I arrived late, and it took someone over five minutes to come open them. People were wandering in and out of the hotel. The couch, chair, and bed skirts in my room were all stained. I chose it based on the reviews, but now I wonder if people are paid to write good ones. It's disgusting, and I'll never book here or recommend it. I took pictures, too.

After an unexpected six days in Dover, we ended up in three different hotels because of availability. This one was the last and the worst. The room photos on the site are completely misleading, and despite choosing it because of its ratings, the place was disgusting. The smell was so bad I couldn't sleep or feel comfortable. We arrived close to midnight and I was too exhausted to call the front desk. We didn't unpack, and I left the suitcases on the rack we brought them up on. The TV couldn't get a signal, the mattress was thin and uncomfortable, and the pillows felt like lumpy stuffed pillowcases. I spoke to the manager in the morning and got an apology about the condition. Looking at the negative Google reviews, guests keep mentioning cleanliness and room condition, and it seems the ownership hasn't fixed anything or cared enough to make it right.

The room was clean and a great value, and breakfast was good for the price too. I would've liked a non-dairy milk option for cereal or coffee. I recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Dover. Nicholas and Alyssa at the front desk were extraordinarily helpful and friendly, and I really appreciated their professionalism when I ran into unexpected trouble with my third-party reservation. They were miracle workers. I did notice that at some times there was just one front-desk employee while the hotel was fully booked. I wish the company wouldn't put its employees under so much stress.

We left after the first night. We were paying $60 more per night than at the Hilton and got moldy rooms with dirt, hair, and water dripping from the vents, plus a terrible breakfast bar. The other guests were awful: dogs were swimming in the pool, kids ran screaming through the halls all night, and naked men showered next door with their doors propped open. Never again.
