I've been back to this hotel several times, and Jordan at the bar always makes the visit memorable. He looks out for people and makes sure everyone's enjoying themselves. His cocktails are great, and he takes time to talk with guests, which makes the bar feel welcoming. The first time I sat down, his warmth and friendliness made me feel right at home. If you're here and Jordan's working, stop by the bar.

The rooms are beautiful, and the staff are amazing. Jose, Angel and Carmen especially went out of their way to look after me during my stay. Whenever an issue came up, it was handled quickly and professionally. Really excellent customer service.

We liked having a spacious area for the complimentary breakfast and a good range of food to choose from. The floors and bathroom were clean, which was a big plus. Our suite on the 5th floor faced east, with a wonderful view toward Oakbrook and the city (Chicago). It had a kitchen, two TVs, one king bed and a full-sized murphy bed. We booked the Murphy room for a weekend because it was conveniently between the kids' tennis tournaments. The only things that brought it down for us were broken hooks on the blackout curtains, so they couldn't close all the way, and the small space around the lowered murphy bed, where we kept bumping our kneecaps on the corners. Otherwise, we'd definitely book again.

My wife and I had a great stay in Downers Grove. We stopped at the bar Friday, and Johnny took great care of us. He's a genuinely great guy, made our cocktails perfectly, and made the whole visit more enjoyable.
