We loved the view from Beaver Cabin, and I’ve attached a few photos. The host was incredibly friendly, and everything suited us perfectly. The cabin was cozy and lovely, and the hot tub was great. We had a wonderful stay and are already planning to come back.

The setting is beautiful, and it’s only about 10 minutes from Estes. We stayed a few days in October and really liked the rustic feel. The cabin was comfortable, the hot tub was enjoyable, and we spent evenings in the outdoor seating area by the gas fireplace. I also walked my dog along the river, and the office had a convenient range of items available if we needed anything.

We picked the Marmot cabin for two, and it was cozy and fairly private. The covered porch was handy for sitting outside even when it rained, and the hot tub was nice. At night we could hear the river; we also enjoyed fresh apricots from the tree and spotted a bear in the backyard. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free. A great place to stay in Big Thompson Canyon.

The cabins are cute, and there’s a hot tub and fire pits, but there’s no wood provided, so bring your own, along with hot tub towels. The nightly price feels high for the basics, and customer service was friendlier and more helpful back when it was Dripping Springs.

The riverfront location a few miles out of town was peaceful, and the grounds had a great supply room and other amenities for a rustic resort. We stayed in the Blue Spruce suite for a couple of days and had what we needed. The hosts communicated well and sweetly left a bottle of wine for my husband and me to mark our anniversary.
