The staff moved me to another room without hesitation, and they were nice about it. But the headboard in my first room was visibly splattered and very dirty, which was alarming at a Marriott suite room where I expected a higher standard. My family had spent quite a bit on the Mother's Day stay, and no discount or other compensation was offered. The mess was so obvious that it left me wondering what less visible things might not have been cleaned. At a cheaper motel I might not have thought as much of it, but I wish there'd been a discount or even a refund.

The staff worked hard to make sure everything was right, and the rooms were roomy and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

My daughter and I were in town for a gymnastics meet, and the staff got us into a room before the usual check-in time. They also suggested good restaurants and shops for things the hotel didn't have. When there was a mistake on my account, they fixed it quickly and followed up. The room was large and clean, and the neighborhood felt safe. Friendly, accommodating service. I'd recommend this hotel for families.

We had a great stay, but the privacy issue cost it two stars. We left the provided do not disturb sign on our door, yet someone came in and cleaned while we were out. I appreciate the cleaning, but with that sign up, housekeeping shouldn't even knock. I used to work as a housekeeper, so it felt like our privacy had been invaded. Coming back to find that was very strange.

I stayed four nights, and the maid service was awful. On the second day, I came back from a company event to find the room only half cleaned: no fresh cups and the trash still there. The next day I left at 7:30 a.m. and returned at 4 p.m. to an untouched room, with the bed unmade and no fresh towels. The front desk said all the maids had gone for the day. I'm a long-standing Marriott Bonvoy member, and this was a terrible customer experience. Avoid this place and book somewhere else.
