The quiet and privacy here are amazing, and everything was ready to go. We first booked a camper suite with a kitchen, then changed to an elegant room with an old farmhouse feel. We understood that the kitchen wouldn’t be included, but expected at least a microwave, and there wasn’t one. Even so, I’m giving it five stars. The service may be available, but that isn’t really the point here. You don’t come to be pampered by strangers. My Secure Wi-Fi measured about 100Mbs down and 3Mbs up while I was using a Houston VPN. They say the Wi-Fi can vary with the weather. It’s raining, and so far I haven’t had any issues. AT&T 5g is strong here too. My wife and I plan to set up our telescope tonight and see what the universe shows us. I think this place is a dark sky gem.

We spent Sunday to Tuesday in Creek Cottage #3, and it wasn’t very busy, but we felt safe. My husband and I were happy with the cabin and common area. It was clean, the bed was comfy, and it had just the right amount of amenities. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch, where we saw deer and had a visit from a friendly cat. One evening we used the gas fire pit and sat under the sky with a little wine. We drove about 6 minutes to Tillies for dinner one night. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great food and service, definitely a must if you stay here. We had a perfect cozy getaway and a wonderful visit.

We’d love to gather the family here sometime. It’s cozy and comfortable, nicely appointed, and has that relaxing country feel, while still being close enough to explore other places. The views were really pretty, and the place was spotless. Our bed was comfortable too. The host replied promptly whenever we had a question and even adjusted the price when we decided not to bring our pup. We loved our stay and will be back.

We stayed in the Firefly 5th wheel for a little after-Christmas getaway, and it was just what we needed to wind down. The property was peaceful, the camper was clean and stocked inside and out, and the shared fire pit and grill were great. Check-in and checkout were easy, and when we had a couple of small problems, they were sorted out within minutes. Town is close for food and groceries. For outdoor outings, Perdenales St Park, Reimer’s Ranch, and West Cave are nearby, and the tour at West Cave is worth checking out. We’ll be back and will recommend it in a heartbeat. Thanks ka!
