Keisha at the front desk was super sweet and accommodating, and the hotel was clean. We were in the area for one night, and it was handy having a few restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was decent, with a nice selection, but it needed refilling and some items weren’t very hot.

The staff were great, but the stay was terrible. There was construction above our room every day starting at 7 a.m., and at $180 a night it felt wildly overpriced. The walls are thin enough that you hear people next door talking, so don’t expect much privacy or quiet. I was also getting random texts from the hotel at midnight asking how my stay was going.

The room wasn’t as clean as other reviews made it sound. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, including one climbing the wall by the door, and the closet was gross, with some nasty liquid on the floor. The front desk woman, I think her name was Melissa, was great. She took care of us and moved us to another room. Very nice and caring.

The hotel staff weren’t helpful. I booked a room for four days, then my business plans changed and I tried to move the reservation to the previous week for the same four days. When I called, they said they couldn’t change it because it was booked through Hilton Honors. Hilton told me the hotel had to approve the change, but the hotel refused. I don’t understand why they couldn’t move it by a week when I was willing to pay that week’s rates.

As a Hilton Honors member, I’ve checked into plenty of hotels, and having to sign a paper form feels outdated. Check-in took forever, and only one elevator was working. I can’t see this place being worth $200 a night, so I’m not sure why the rate was so high.
