Pinewoods Resort

Finding a place where you can ride in and ride out is hard, and we were able to ride to three great caves from here. We visited over Spring Break, and hated to leave. There are lovely campsites, an indoor pool, and a restaurant serving five-star meals. When we arrived late in the cold, Lee and Rick came right out to help and were patient and kind. All the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We’ll be back for sure.

We were visiting Duck Creek with family and had a fantastic dinner at pinewoods Grille on our last night. The service was great, and every dish we tried was delicious: the clam and shrimp basket, chicken alfredo, and sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza. If we lived nearby, we’d eat here often. We didn’t stay at the resort, so I can’t review it.

We popped in for lunch during a Sunday drive and were pleasantly surprised. The place is set in the woods, with a lovely atmosphere, great food, and five-star service. There’s also a small gift shop and a bar. We’re thinking about coming back for a weekend for our anniversary.

The room and grounds were clean, with a nice mountain setting. Staying at Pinewoods Resort felt a bit like camping, but with a comfortable hotel room. We enjoyed having both the pool and hot tub, though the hot tub was a little too warm.
