The location is lovely, with a walkable area, a pretty path along the lake, and a small beach behind the hotel. There's a nice pool and hot tub, and our room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The staff were kind and understanding, and I appreciated the small discount they offered. But if you don't get up very early, I wouldn't stay here. After 7 AM, hockey kids were running loudly down the halls, there was pounding from above, doors kept slamming, and people talked loudly in the hallway. Their parents weren't considerate of other guests. The discount didn't make up for the lost sleep and poor experience. I'd personally choose a hotel with a more relaxed atmosphere next time.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location felt private while still being close to a lot. The pool was warm and clean, and breakfast was great. On our walk back from Harbor 360, which I recommend, we crossed the freeway and headed toward the pier where I planned to propose to my future fiancée. Someone driving by in a red car egged my brand-new $65 white hoodie, the first time I'd worn it out. The staff sprayed it with stain remover and helped me clean it. Thanks again! We'll be back.

We visited in the off-season and had a really nice experience. The room was clean, with a great view of Lake Superior, and the front desk staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Lots of downtown places were close enough to reach on foot.

Becky, the hospitality director, was fantastic and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The service was warm from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very clean and in a fantastic location, and breakfast was the best. We'll definitely stay again.

The boardwalk is right there, making it easy to take a stroll by the lake, and breakfast was good. Our room's finishes and furniture were starting to show some wear. It wasn't a major issue, but enough to make this four stars instead of five.
