The room cost $63, but it was old and dated, with dirty carpet, uncomfortable beds, and several areas that needed cleaning. The office smelled bad, and the worker spoke very little English. After I asked four times, he finally brought over his young daughter to ask me a question. The bottom of the bathtub was awful, too. Our connecting door to the next room had no lock. At 11:30 at night, people next door were yelling profanity, and my two older kids were really scared. I called the lobby after listening to their conversations for 20 minutes. They said they’d handle it, but nobody called or came to the door, and the party went on. At daylight, a man spent an entire hour yelling and pounding on the neighboring door, asking his friends to let him in. There was also a sign in the lobby saying “No Refund.”
