Hampton Inn Atlanta/Fayetteville

It's a nice, quiet, safe area, but I wouldn't stay here again. During a cold snap, the heating and AC unit switched on and off so loudly and abruptly that we couldn't use it. There was an extra blanket, so we managed. We arrived tired later in the evening and didn't ask to change rooms. Given the hotel's age, I suspect the other rooms may have the same problem.

The room was so nice, even better than some places I've stayed that were supposedly five star, and the whole building was very clean. The staff were great, kind, and respectful of my privacy, and checking in and out was easy. I work at a Hilton hotel, so I don't understand why this place doesn't have more stars. Parking is the one issue: I work nights, and when I got back there was hardly anywhere to park, so I had to walk a ways. I didn't mind, and there's construction right in front of the hotel, which is worth bearing in mind.

The staff are really nice and attentive, and I keep having good stays here. Rooms are clean and quiet, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is hot and has plenty of choices, and the lobby coffee is surprisingly decent too.

The staff were excellent from check-in through housekeeping and checkout, and the breakfast bar had plenty of tasty food. The modern Hampton Inn decor worked for me, with its clean lines and open spaces, and the room was good quality. It was an easy drive to the family we were visiting. My only gripe was the thermostat: heat and cool should have their own switch instead of relying on raising or lowering the temperature. Thanks for a nice stay. 🙂
