Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fayetteville by IHG

The hotel itself was very clean, but the shower conditioner was just water, and finding that out while already in the shower wasn’t pleasant. The lotion had water mixed into it too. At almost $200 on a weekday, this feels overpriced compared with other hotels in the area, especially if they’re cutting corners. JEWELISIA was very professional and clearly understands customer service. Katrina’s aggressive manner seems like a better fit for Atlanta than Fayetteville. On the morning of 4/1/26, I heard the manager, the black gentleman in tight dress pants, being rude to an employee for no reason. We heard the whole exchange, and the employee seemed worried. Being a manager doesn’t give you a right to be rude or overbearing. You have a responsibility to set a good example. Maybe prison guard would suit you better. You never know who’s listening or watching. Get off your high horse and apologize to that employee!

This was our second visit, and we’ll come back when we’re in the area again. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was good enough to keep my family happy during our multi-day stay, even though I’ve had better free hotel breakfasts. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sometimes it wasn’t clear whether anyone was on duty, but we never waited long.

Housekeeping did a great job. The rooms were very clean, and the housekeeping staff were friendly. The front desk, though, seemed irritated and was rude. Breakfast was just okay, with some items missing, others overcooked, and cleanup starting before 9:30. The pool was out of service for all four nights we were there, even though the indoor pool was the reason I picked this hotel. We have a booking here for next month, but I’m canceling and rebooking in Newnan.

We won’t be coming back to the Fayetteville location. At check-in, the front desk woman seemed angry, yelled at staff, and didn’t welcome me. I felt like I was interrupting whatever she wanted to do. I booked one room for two nights, but on the second day she called to ask whether I was checking out that day, as if my reservation were only for one night. When we returned, we were locked out. I tried IHG online chat, but each person kept asking for my phone number and address before transferring me to someone else who asked the same things. Nobody at the hotel or online helped us.
