Good value for me and my pet, and I’d recommend staying here if you bring your own soap and skip the laundry. The shower was hot, and there’s a modest breakfast. I hadn’t seen interior corridors at a Red Roof before. The towels were small and threadbare, and all the bathroom soap dispensers were empty, so I was glad I had soap in my cosmetic bag. The washer got my clothes clean but left them dripping wet, and drying took hours.
I won’t return. We make this trip often, so they’ll be losing our business. The room had mold on the ceiling and a dirty rag in the shower. The water wasn’t very hot even with the shower turned all the way up. When I asked the front desk for an extra blanket and two towels, they tried to charge me extra. I mentioned the rag because it made me mad. Then they called asking to come to the room. When I brought up the water temperature, the man had an attitude and said nobody else had complained. I wasn’t even going to make an issue of it until they were so rude.
I paid 74 dollars a night and had the worst experience of my life. Breakfast wasn’t open either of the two days, and the soap dispenser had come off the wall, so I couldn’t get soap to wash my hands. There were no elevators, and we had to carry our luggage upstairs.
Easy, clean, and comfy, with a simple breakfast. I stayed once while coming into tx and again on the way out. Both times they checked me in after midnight. The room was spacious, clean, and cost 80 with tax, which was good value.
The room had plenty of space and amenities, and I got a fair price even with my animals. Breakfast was simple but good. Traveling alone with my toddler and pets, I felt comfortable here.
