Spark by Hilton Dumas

This little hotel in Dumas is where I'd stay again. I travel around the Panhandle a lot, and I think it's worth skipping Amarillo for. It was the cleanest Hilton chain hotel I've been to, with great staff and very good management. Thanks for a great stay.

The rooms were top notch and budget friendly, but the staff really stood out. I was stuck in Dumas, 4.5 hours from home, without a car after some difficult circumstances. Cecilia, Angel, who was new to the team, the person training her, and pretty much everyone else were incredibly understanding and gave great customer service. They helped keep the night from getting any worse 😂 I really appreciate y’all.

We'd just come off an eighteen hour road trip for a funeral, so it was nice that the staff got our room ready about 15 minutes after we arrived, even though it wasn't ready for early check in. The place was very clean and well looked after, and the staff were helpful and on point.

The room was clean, and the bed was clean and comfy. Breakfast, though, was the second worst I've ever seen at a hotel. It was all continental food, and the signs said anything beyond toast or a muffin cost extra. Nice corporate greed there, Hilton. Then Hilton's obviously AI generated reply to my review made it worse. It basically said, “Here's some cheap breakfast stuff. If you want meat, eggs, or cheese, get out your wallet!!!”
