The phone call afterward was just as bad as the room situation. When I called to explain what happened and ask for a refund for the unused nights, the man who answered was unbelievably rude and dismissive. He accused us of lying and said bugs couldn't be in the room because it was “too cold.” I found that extremely unprofessional, and the lack of cleanliness and customer service was unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend staying here. My husband had checked into the Super 8 in Dumas, Texas for Monday through Thursday, but when he checked the bed, he found beetles under the comforter and in the bedding. He recorded a video and didn't bring any of his belongings into the room because it felt so uncomfortable and unsanitary. He checked out early on Tuesday because of the bugs. He's not confrontational, so he just told the front desk his plans had changed.

The beds were very comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep in a clean, quiet room. The staff were accommodating too.

The waffle was very good, but there was no protein offered, and the breakfast area had just one table. The food seemed old. I thought the raisin bran might break a tooth. It was noisy too, with people talking loud enough to wake me at midnight. The bed was clean and comfortable, but I paid $96 for a $56 room. I never got my receipt because the elderly lady said her son wasn't there and I'd have to wait until he returned. I was ready to get on the road. Bummer. Really, you can't print a receipt?

Breakfast was great and had more options than most hotels by Wyndham. The rooms were clean and had a big TV, and the customer service was excellent. We had a great stay.

The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and clean. Our room was a good size, very clean, and smelled good. I have no complaints and recommend this hotel to others looking for a nice place at a good value.
