Deer Mountain Lodge & Wilderness Resort

The mornings were a treat, with farm-fresh eggs and proteins, homemade home fries, pancakes, and plenty more. Chris and Jamie made sure we had everything we needed, and the lodge felt like being welcomed into someone's home. It's beautifully decorated and well maintained, one of the prettiest places I've seen in New England. Can't wait to return.

The breakfast was huge, with anything you'd want, and Khrys and her ladies take your order and serve you right at the kitchen table. You wake up to coffee and tea after a wonderful night's sleep in a spectacular, clean, comfortable, relaxing bedroom. I came with my childhood bestie and her two kiddos to watch the epic 2024 Solar Eclipse, and Khrys gave me a tour of the beautiful lodge before the other guests arrived. She makes you feel right at home. There are two Great Rooms with comfy couches and chairs where you can watch TV if you want. For outdoor things like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or fishing, this is absolutely the place. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

I loved the blueberry pancakes and maple syrup, the best I've ever eaten, along with eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. The owner and the ladies at breakfast were great hosts. The lodge has a wildlife theme, and it's a great escape from chain hotels on a long trip. Thanks for making our stay special. We'll stay again if we're in the area.

Breakfast made me feel especially spoiled, and the hostess was so accommodating. From the start, staying here felt like visiting a family member in their home. The atmosphere was just right for the location.
