The room was kind of clean for the area, and the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful. The next morning, though, Wendy treated us with complete disrespect and a terrible attitude just because I asked for butter. I also said it would be a good idea for the manager to hear feedback from customers, but Wendy kept telling us there was no manager. When I wanted to settle my bill, she said I should’ve done it the night before. Just a challenging, disrespectful attitude. We’re not coming back. After reading the reviews, we can see there’s a bad trend. In my opinion, stay away.

I spent five days here, and housekeeping never cleaned my room, even after I asked. I never put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. When I brought it up at the front desk, all I got was, “Oops, that’s unfortunate,” with no real fix or follow-up. That level of service is unacceptable and far below what you’d expect on a stay of several days.

The cleaning staff and kitchen were helpful, and the food was okay, with the basics. The woman at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. She didn’t greet or acknowledge me and was just on her phone. Front desk staff should be oriented toward customer service. Check your receipts carefully for surprise charges. I wasn’t satisfied with the stay or the service.

The stay was clean, comfortable, and a good value, with a relaxed, welcoming feel. Wendy was genuinely kind and helpful both when I checked in and when I checked out. If customer service had a mascot, it’d be her in a Hampton name tag. I arrived early and my room wasn’t ready, but it was no big deal. They had a hot chocolate bar, which is basically my love language, and a cozy little spot where I could get some work done while I waited.
