Best Western Dundee

We had a good stay at the Best Western. The hotel was newly remodeled and very clean, with log furniture throughout and a theme inspired by the big outdoor hunting and sports store across the street. The bed and sofa were comfortable. Our room was above the kitchen, so there was a little noise, but nothing major. The shower had plenty of hot water, though the pressure was limited. There's a waterpark attached at the back, plus several restaurants and a convenience store/gas station across the street.

The staff were polite, accommodating, and gave us helpful tips on where to find good food. Breakfast was included and good, and the small water park kept my 7 yr old entertained. The hotel was great for a weekend retreat. As a member of the plus size delegation, I especially appreciated the staff's help.

The slow tub drain was the one real drawback. After a quick shower, the water was already above my ankles, which kept this from being a five-star stay. The rooms were neat and clean, and the hotel was in great shape, not run down at all. The attached water park and good restaurants within walking distance were nice perks. Breakfast was a typical hot continental spread. Staff were friendly and professional.

After a long day at Michigan International Speedway, we got to unwind in the heated pool before bed. The next morning's breakfast was awesome, and we spent the following day at the indoor water park attached to the hotel. The staff were fabulous, and the hotel was a great place to stay, not far from the track.
