The bed they gave me was so uncomfortable I didn't sleep at all. I had booked a room with two double beds online, but at evening check-in I was told construction meant only a king room with a pullout sofa bed was available. They wondered if the listing hadn't been taken off the site. I was still charged the same price as for the double-bed room. The pullout mattress was dirty and badly worn. This place isn't being maintained to Wyndham Hotels standards.

They said the $60 deposit would come back after checkout, but a week later I was still trying to track it down. When we called, the woman handling check-in was very rude. She was hard to understand, too. This place is supposed to be Comfort Inn now.

The location worked well for my work assignment, with a grocery store and Starbucks nearby, but that was about the only upside. My room was tiny, barely enough for one person, and I found candy wrappers, so it hadn't been cleaned properly. The front desk woman was great. Breakfast was sparse, and there was only a treadmill in the gym. You have to ask for room service, and late checkout costs extra. Nothing else stood out.

I used 15,000 Wyndham reward points to book a free room, then was charged the full cash rate as well. I only caught the double charge later, and couldn't get either the money or the points refunded. Don't use points to book here.

The sink was a little clogged, though it wasn't a big problem. Otherwise, I had a good stay: the room and hotel were clean, and the staff were really nice.
